The largest composites exhibition in the world relocates in a bigger venue with a new name: JEC World. Taking into account the growing demand of its exhibitors, the event will be able to increase its space in a controlled and monitored Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center. The Exhibition and the conferences address the whole composites value chain from raw materials to intermediates and above all, end-using Industries highly consumer of composites materials such as Aerospace & Aeronautics, Automotive, Energy, Building & Construction or Sports & Leisure.

JEC World will give room and space to some of these sectors, offering for the first time 4 “planets” organized around a galleria of innovations but also discussions and networking areas.

Last year, we launched “Composites for Better Living,” an expo within the exhibition in order to present composite objects that enhance the quality of our lives. That’s why, in 2016, we will take a step forward and explore how composites respond to the challenges of this century: energy, sustainability, and environment. Therefore, we will exhibit materials, technologies and products that are increasingly energy efficient, resources- saving and reusable. JEC Group launches 4 NEW Spaces called Planets, inviting visitors to indulge their curiosity and explore the Future: Aeronautics Planet, Automotive Planet, and Sustainable Planet. In 2016, the “Composites for Better Living” Planet will be dedicated to Sports & Leisure.

In recent years, South Korean firms have been at the forefront of several noteworthy composite material developments that have been recognized worldwide in particular for their Carbon breakthroughs. Moreover, the close relationships of the Golden triangle made of Government, Industry and Research together with Material Sciences and Engineering is vital in the development of Composites in a country. These models of virtuous circles have proven to be positive and fruitful in many countries and South Korea is one very good example.

JEC World is the biggest and most attended Composites event in the World. No other conference or Exhibition in Europe, America nor Asia gather the many attendees and exhibitors and offer such a high quality program. In parallel, the Live Demo Zone will exemplify the growing advances of automation in Composites Manufacturing.

The largest global meeting for composites has adapted its size and location with a substantial growth, reaching 62,000 sqm of exhibit space in 2016. The new venue will, with no doubts, improve the attendees and exhibitors ‘experience with JEC World, as the modern and functional site is close to infrastructures like the airport Roissy Charles de Gaulle, the Roissy TGV high-speed train station and minutes away from Paris city center thanks to the RER rapid transit system, and JEC shuttles providing our international visitors with easy access.
